Krisztina Design
Krisztina is the founder and the owner of her workshop studio where she works as an authentic folk artist. Her aim is to celebrate the beautiful Hungarian folk art originally from her home town, Kalocsa in Hungary.
The motifs are representing the colourful field of the land, drawn on fabric to be embroidered or painted on wood or porcelain. She's never learned professionally how to do sewing or embroidery but her enthusiasm and love of working with fabric and thread lead her to create her own fashion and embroidery creations.
She’s taking her goodies across England to promote the Hungarian culture through exhibitions, workshops, festivals and fashion shows. She had the chance to show her first sustainable fashion range with the support from CooltureCafe (in London), followed by several group shows.
She's a keen embroidery artist and happy to design and create any pattern either by machine or folk art by hand.
